Equipment
- Oven preheated
- Skillet medium-size
- Baking Dish
Ingredients
- 10 pieces Bacon 80 grams
- 4 pieces Raw Egg 200 grams
- ⅛ tsp Salt 0.76 grams
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper 0.56 grams
- 8 ounce Sausage 227 grams
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar 113 grams
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 F (190 C). Use a 6×6 or similar size square shaped baking dish and spray it with some oil. Line the baking dish with strips of raw bacon, overlap each other slightly to create a stable exterior.
- Use a medium-sized skillet, crack the eggs over medium heat. Stir continually and add salt and pepper to the eggs. Keep moving the eggs as they scramble. When cooked well, add an even layer of scrambled eggs on top of the bacon.
- Clean the same skillet, and place it on medium-high heat. Add the sausage in it, then cut it open with a spoon or knife as you cook it. Cook the sausage well all the way through until it is golden brown and slightly crispy. Then add a layer of the crispy brown sausage on top of the egg.
- Finally, spread an even layer of cheddar cheese on the top of the baking dish. You may nicely fold any hanging pieces of bacon on top of the bacon and cover them with cheese. [4] => Bake your casserole on a low rack, uncovered, for about 45 minutes or until the bacon is cooked well, and the cheese melts or is golden brown. Let the dish cool for 5 minutes before slicing for serving. A 6×6 baking dish make a serving of 4.
